How it works

From a new lesson to verses you know

Every memorization routine has three jobs: learn the new lesson, catch the verses that slip, and test what you know.

Learn a new lesson Sabaq

Pick the verses on your page and choose how they repeat: the whole passage again and again, or each verse a few times before the next.

How repeating works

Catch the verses that slip

Stumble on a verse? Tap the bookmark and keep listening. When you finish, loop just the verses you marked. They wait in Weak verses until you mark them strong.

Revise the verses that slip

Test and revise Sabqi and manzil

Turn on Test yourself and only the first word of each verse shows. Playback waits while you recite it, then plays it so you can check.

Opens the Mushaf with the verses picked. No account needed.

Frequently asked questions

What is Quran Loop?

Quran Loop is a free web app for memorizing and revising the Quran by listening on repeat. Pick the verses on the printed Mushaf page or with the Start and End dials, choose a reciter, and the recitation loops while each word lights up in Arabic. It runs in your browser with no ads, and you can listen without an account.

Is Quran Loop free?

Yes. Every feature is free: creating loops, all reciters, weak verse tracking, and playlists. There are no ads and no paid tier.

Do I need an account to use Quran Loop?

Not to get started. You can create a loop and listen right away as a guest. A free account (Google or email) is needed to save more loops, track weak verses, build playlists, and keep everything synced across devices.

How do I create a loop?

Choose a chapter, then pick the verses on the Start and End dials. Each dial shows how its verse begins, so you can choose by the words you remember, and First and Last jump to the ends of the chapter. Then pick Whole passage or Verse by verse and press Play, or Save the loop in this browser. If you know the page number, you can pick the verses on the Mushaf instead.

Which reciters can I listen to?

Quran Loop has a large catalog of reciters, including Mishari Rashid al-Afasy, Abdur-Rahman as-Sudais, Mahmoud Khalil Al-Husary, Mohamed Siddiq al-Minshawi, Sa’ud ash-Shuraym, with AbdulBaset AbdulSamad as the default. More are added regularly. Hear any of them recite Al-Fatihah before you switch, and change the playback speed separately.

Where do the Quran text, translation, and recitations come from?

The Arabic text, the English translation, and the reciter recordings come from Quran.com and the Quranic Universal Library, two widely used and trusted Quran resources. The English translation is Saheeh International.

Can I read on the same mushaf page I learned from?

Yes. The Mushaf shows the Madani 15-line page, or the IndoPak page with 13, 15 or 16 lines, line for line as printed, so every verse sits where you memorized it. Tap a verse to start a loop there, or tap a second verse to loop the range between them, and each word lights up as it’s recited. For bigger Arabic, switch to the Large text layout: the verses stack, with the printed page and line numbers still marked.

What is the difference between whole-passage and verse-by-verse repeat?

Whole passage plays your verse range from start to end, then starts over. Verse by verse plays each verse on its own several times before moving to the next, for example every verse 5 times. Verse by verse is useful when a passage is new; whole passage helps you connect the verses once you know them individually.

How do I test myself on what I’ve memorized?

Turn on Test yourself and only the first word of each verse shows; the rest keep their place over a faint line. In Verse view, playback stops before each verse with “Recite verse 2, then check it”, and Check verse 2 plays it so you can hear whether you had it. On the Mushaf page it hides the words the same way while you read or listen.

What devices does Quran Loop work on?

Any device with a modern browser. Quran Loop runs entirely in your browser, so it works on phones, tablets, and computers with nothing to install. On most phones you can also add it to your home screen like an app and keep playback going with the screen off, with play, pause, and skip controls on your lock screen. Exact behavior varies between devices: some operating systems limit background audio, so home screen installation and looping with the screen off may work differently on your phone.

Does Quran Loop have a dark mode and a light mode?

Yes. Choose Dark, Light or Auto in Settings; Auto follows your device and is the default. This site has the same choice in the header and at the bottom of every page. To see how the app looks in the other theme, tap the sample loop at the top of this page.

From the Sunnah

The reward of the people of the Qur’an

Authentic narrations, graded hasan and above, on the nearness and reward Allah gives those who take up the Qur’an.

The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5027

Closest to Allah

Allah has His own people among mankind. They said: O Messenger of Allah, who are they? He said: They are the people of the Qur’an, the people of Allah and those closest to Him.
Sunan Ibn Majah 215

Every letter rewarded

Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah receives a good deed for it, and the good deed is multiplied by ten. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is a letter, but Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.
Jamiʻ at-Tirmidhi 2910

Ranked in the next

The one devoted to the Qur’an will be told: Recite and ascend, and recite carefully as you used to recite carefully in the world, for your rank will be at the last verse you recite.
Sunan Abi Dawud 1464
